HBO documentary features Constantinides composition

Music composed by LSU School of Music professor Dinos Constantinides is featured in a new HBO documentary about the daily challenges faced by millions of working poor women.

The music is part of the documentary  “Paycheck to Paycheck: The Life and Times of Katrina Gilbert”, airing now on HBO, includes the Constantinides piece entitled “Lazy Jack And His Fiddle”. It is one of 16 songs used in the documentary, and is performed by George Demertzis on the CD “Constantinides: Musical Stories for Children” released in January 2006 on Centaur Records.

Constantinides was contacted in November regarding use of his work in the cable television feature length documentary and consented to its use. The song is available at iTunes.
